On April 10th, a joint meeting of the international affairs committees of the parliaments of Russia, Iran and Turkey will be held in the State Duma.
As reported on the official website of the Federation Council, one of the central themes will be the situation in Syria.
«In the State Duma, Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev will take part in the first joint meeting of the International Affairs committees of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the parliaments of the Turkish Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran», it is noted in the message.
It is planned that Kosachev will make a report on the situation in Syria and around it, as well as on the prospects for a peaceful settlement.
