Participants in the VI session of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum (RACF), held in Marrakech at the level of foreign ministers, expressed high appreciation for the efforts of the Russian Federation in addressing the Palestinian problem. A joint statement, adopted at the conclusion of the session, conveyed this message.
"We acknowledge the historical and steadfast stance of the Russian Federation in supporting the Palestinian cause and the inherent rights of the Palestinian people, both at the bilateral level and in international forums. We also recognize its endeavors within the UN Security Council to secure a ceasefire and reinitiate the comprehensive peace process, in collaboration with the Arab League," the statement reads.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, alongside the foreign ministers of Morocco, Palestine, Yemen, Bahrain, Sudan, Lebanon, Mauritania, and Egypt, participated in the 6th session of the RACF.
