Today, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met with Ali Al-Shamsi, head of intelligence of the United Arab Emirates. As a spokesman for the Security Council of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Anoshin told reporters, the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East.
“At a meeting with Ali al-Shamsi, minister of the government, head of the national intelligence service and deputy secretary general of the Supreme National Security Council of the United Arab Emirates, Nikolai Patrushev discussed the situation in the Middle East”, - he noted.
The meeting between Patrushev and al-Shamsi was held on the margins of the international meeting of high representatives responsible for security issues, which is being held today in Ufa.
