Iran has been requesting gas supplies from Russia for a long time, and this is a project that can be realized, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a plenary session at the Eastern Economic Forum.
"Iran has been asking us for gas supplies for quite some time, and it's a very convenient arrangement for us, given that the gas field is nearby. I believe this is a highly feasible project, especially considering the vast markets in Iran and its neighboring countries, which have a tremendous demand. There are various opportunities here, and we will explore different markets," Putin explained.
