During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the first meeting of the Russian-Saudi Economic Council. According to the Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov, the meeting will be held on October 14.
"The program of the visit provides for the participation of the President in the first meeting of the Economic Council," he said, in particular.
The Russian-Saudi Economic Council, according to Ushakov, includes representatives of large businesses of the two states, about 20 people from each side.
The Aide to the President also noted that investment cooperation with Saudi Arabia is increasing.
"The Public Investment Fund of Saudia Arabia has allocated $ 10 billion for investments together with The Russian Direct Investment Fund, there is a mechanism of co-investment as well. $ 2.5 billion has been disbursed", - Yuri Ushakov said.
