At the initiative of the Chinese side, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov had a telephone conversation with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui.
According to the press service of the Russian MFA, the parties exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan, the Korean Peninsula and around it, on the current situation of the global spread of coronavirus infection, as well as on Russian-Chinese cooperation within the framework of several multilateral mechanisms.
"An agreement has been reached to continue close bilateral coordination on the above mentioned and other relevant global and regional issues", the message reads.
