Russia and Malaysia share closely aligned positions on resolving the Middle East crisis, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko. Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the 15th Asian Conference of the Valdai Club, Rudenko highlighted the unity between the two nations.
"This is one of the topics where our countries' positions are nearly identical across all aspects of the Middle Eastern issue," he stated in response to a related question.
Rudenko emphasized that both Russia and Malaysia advocate for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis. "We, like our Malaysian friends, support a two-state solution, envisioning an independent State of Palestine and the State of Israel. We will continue to do everything possible to achieve a long-term peace," he stressed.
