The meeting between the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Ryabkov and the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Russia, Carlos Faria, took place in Moscow today.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the diplomats discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as the international agenda and regional issues. Special attention was paid to the situation in Venezuela.
The Russian side once again expressed its support for the spirit of the legitimate government of Venezuela to the peaceful settlement of political differences in the strict accordance with domestic law and without destructive external interference from outside.
