In December, Moscow will host a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Russia and Syria. This was reported by the office of Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov.
"The meeting of the bilateral Russian-Syrian Intergovernmental Commission will be held before the end of the year in Moscow," the statement reads.
These days, Yury Borisov is on a working visit to Syria, during which he will meet with President of the Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad.
The main topics of discussion will be the port of Tartus and the supply of agricultural products.
The previous meeting of the Russian-Syrian Intergovernmental Commission was held in December 2018 in Damascus. The parties signed the commercial agreement on the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons in Syria.
