Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Efkan Ala, Deputy Chairman of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), emphasized the importance of expanding interparty cooperation within the framework of Russia-Turkey collaboration, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry. The discussion covered key bilateral issues, the current status, and prospects of Russian-Turkish cooperation in various fields, with a focus on fostering closer ties, including through interparty initiatives.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the dialogue also touched on global issues related to establishing a multipolar world order based on principles of sovereign equality, mutual respect, inclusivity, and the indivisibility of security.

Earlier reports indicated that Russia's United Russia party and Turkey’s AKP had signed a protocol aimed at strengthening cooperation. This agreement includes plans for youth exchanges, coordinating party activities on multilateral platforms, and expanding cooperation through women’s movements.
