Russian President Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev confirmed during a telephone conversation the intention to develop a strategic partnership, especially in the economy. This was reported by the Kremlin press service after the conversation.
"Some topical issues of the bilateral agenda were also touched upon. The mutual intention to further develop the Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership with an emphasis on the implementation of specific projects in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres was confirmed," the Kremlin's press service said in a statement.
