Russia is ready to increase the export of oil and mixed fertilizers to Malaysia. The statement was made by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach at the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum".
"We certainly understand and know that we can increase exports to Malaysia for those products, the cooperation on which is already underway. First of all, we are talking about energy products. It is possible to increase supplies of crude oil and various quality oil products to Malaysia. In terms of industry, Russia is ready to increase export of mixed fertilizers to Malaysia," he said.
He also said Russia is ready to consider supplying LNG to Malaysia. "With the growing importance of the climate agenda at the global level, I would like to draw attention that Russia is ready to consider supplying Malaysia with liquefied natural gas, low-carbon ammonia, hydrogen, as well as low-carbon materials. This is also a question of supplying those materials and energy resources, the value of which is currently emphasized, including the climate agenda," said Volvach.
