Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov had a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Personal Representative George Shaaban.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the officials discussed the emerging public, political, and socio-economic situation in Lebanon.
At the same time, the Russian side reaffirmed its position in support of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Lebanon and the relevant efforts of the government of the Lebanese Republic headed by Saad Hariri.
