Lebanon is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe similar to that in the Gaza Strip, according to Russian Ambassador to Beirut Alexander Rudakov, who spoke on the Rossiya-24 television channel.
“Lebanon stands on the brink of a humanitarian disaster akin to what Gaza is experiencing. The instigator of this tragedy, of course, is the same,” he stated.
The diplomat emphasized that Lebanese hospitals are currently facing extreme challenges. “Statistics are constantly being updated, and the full scale of the disaster is still incalculable,” Rudakov added.
