Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergei Shoigu discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and military cooperation with Armenia in a telephone conversation with the head of the country's military department Vagharshak Harutyunyan.
"During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation, the situation in the region and areas where the Russian peacekeeping contingent carries out tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as other issues of mutual interest," the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Tuesday.
Earlier, the heads of the two defense ministries got in touch on February 25 and 27, and also on March 10 to discuss the same range of issues.
