Russian and Turkish Diplomats Talk on Transcaucasia, and Ukraine

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgic held a meeting where they delved into the unfolding situations in Transcaucasia, Central Asia, and Ukraine, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

 

In the statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry outlined that the discussions covered the current dynamics in Transcaucasia, Central Asia, and Ukraine. Both diplomats affirmed their shared readiness to deepen collaboration with a specific focus on fostering peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

 

The effectiveness of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Turkey on regional and international issues was highlighted in the statement. It further underscored the acknowledgment of joint endeavors to fortify security and stability on a global scale.

 

On the same day, Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Rudenko met with the Turkish ambassador, continuing discussions on the bilateral and regional agenda of mutual interest. The ministry's statement reiterated the commitment to direct coordination for the advancement of global security and stability.
