Russia is set to open a consulate general in Denpasar, Indonesia, according to an order from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The order states, "To open the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the city of Denpasar (Indonesia). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is to establish the number of employees and approve its staff schedule." The opening and maintenance of the consulate will be funded by budgetary allocations provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the federal budget for the relevant fiscal year and planning period.
State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov previously mentioned that the plan to open a Russian consulate general on the Indonesian island of Bali was being developed in a planned manner.
