Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Jordanian Ambassador to Moscow Khaled Shawabkeh recently convened to address the escalating tensions in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.
The Russian foreign ministry's statement emphasized, "The conversation entailed a comprehensive exchange of perspectives on the Middle East agenda, particularly focusing on the escalating situation within the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, as well as developments in Syria and its vicinity."
Furthermore, the ministry noted that the meeting also delved into practical matters concerning the ongoing reinforcement of the longstanding amicable relations between Russia and Jordan. This encompasses sustaining an active political dialogue on international issues of mutual concern.
