Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Ihab Nasr discussed coordination of the two countries' efforts in resolving the crisis in Libya and Syria at a meeting on Wednesday.
"There was an exchange of views on the regional agenda with a focus on coordinating Moscow and Cairo's efforts to resolve the situation in Libya and Syria," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the sides touched upon some practical aspects of the Russian-Egyptian bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian areas.
