The Russian Embassy in Turkey expressed its condolences on Friday over the deaths of Turkish servicemen in a helicopter crash in the east of the republic.
"In connection with the crash of a military helicopter in Bitlis, we express our condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured," a message on the official Twitter page of the diplomatic mission reads.
Yesterday, a Cougar helicopter crashed in the province of Bitlis, as a result of the crash 11 military men were killed. According to preliminary data, the accident was caused by bad weather conditions.
