Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Fatah Central Committee Executive Secretary Jibril Rajoub.
During the talks, also attended by Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal, the parties focused on the problems of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement and Palestine’s internal situation with an emphasis on the necessity of the speediest reinstatement of Palestinian national unity on the basis of the PLO platform.
The official also discussed current issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian relations.
