Russia expects Turkey and Syria to establish good neighborly relations. Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told TASS on Tuesday in the margins of the "Primakov Readings" forum.
"These are all being discussed," he said, responding to a question about whether Russia is in contact to resolve relations between Turkey and Syria. - "Our approach is to have good neighborhood relations between countries we have constructive relations with. I mean the Syrian Arab Republic and the Republic of Turkey."
Bogdanov also noted that "contacts are in progress" with Turkish partners regarding the creation of a gas hub in Turkey.
