The security of Russian diplomats in Ramallah is being maintained at an adequate level, following reports of an Israeli military operation in the area. This information was confirmed by Aliya Zaripova, the spokesperson for the Russian Federation's representative office to the Palestinian National Authority.
Earlier, Al Hadath had reported that Israeli military forces were carrying out an operation in Ramallah, which is in the West Bank and where the Russian representative office is situated.
"These raids occur nearly on a daily basis, and our security is maintained at an adequate level," Zaripova remarked.
Al Hadath reported that the sounds of gunshots were heard in the vicinity of the operation. The TV channel also mentioned that during the night, Israeli Armed Forces soldiers carried out a series of raids in several Palestinian cities, including Ramallah, leading to armed clashes between the Israeli military and Palestinians.
