When planning a holiday in Turkey, Russian tourists should take into account its climatic conditions, do not abuse the all-inclusive system common in Turkish hotels, and be more careful on the roads. Russian Ambassador to Ankara Alexey Yerkhov told RIA Novosti.
"Due to the fact that a lot of deaths are caused by previously diagnosed diseases, of course, the main advice to our tourists is to take into account that Turkey is a country with different climatic conditions, in the "high season" temperatures exceed 40 degrees. Of course, you should not abuse the all-inclusive system that is so common in Turkish hotels", the Russian diplomat said, in particular.
In addition, Yerkhov urged Russians to remember that Turkish drivers do not always pass pedestrians, "even if you cross the road in a special place".
Earlier, it was reported that in 2019, 7,018 million Russians visited Turkey, which is an absolute record and exceeds the same number in 2018 by 17,65%.
