President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, head of Group of Strategic Vision Russia – Islamic world, as part of the Russian delegation arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit to participate in the International conference "Caspian sea: "Benefits of developing of the international economic cooperation".
This event is part of the First Caspian Economic Forum, which is attended by the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Maminov, head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Novruz Mamedov, representatives of the highest political and business circles of Iran, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
The conference "Caspian sea: Benefits of developing of the international economic cooperation" is devoted to the discussion of the implementation of joint investment projects, the development of cooperation between countries and regions in the field of the digital economy, special economic zones. Within the conference, business meetings and round tables will be held on topical issues of the interregional economic agenda.
According to the press service of the President of Tatarstan, Minnikhanov plans to hold several meetings with representatives of official and business circles, to visit the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, Kiyanly Polymer Plant and Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
