President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia-Islamic World", has begun a working visit to Turkey. According to the press service of the Kazan Kremlin, in Istanbul and the city of Bursa, he intends to meet with the leadership of the Turkish provinces and local business representatives.
So, today the Head of the Republic will meet with the Governor of the province of Bursa Yakup Canbolat and the Mayor of Bursa city Alinur Aktas. A business forum will be held at the Chamber of Commerce with the participation of Tatarstan and Turkey business circles.
Then, Minnikhanov will visit the plants of the companies «Durmazlar makina» (production of high-tech machines for metal processing), «Sarigyzoglu» (production of pressed body parts for automobiles) and «Cortex» (production of polyester threads).
Also today, Minnikhanov is scheduled to go to the Mercedes-Benz Turk bus factory and meet with the activists of the Tatar community in Istanbul.
Tomorrow, on May 16tth, in Istanbul, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan will meet with the Leaders of a number of Turkish companies, as well as the Minister of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey, Ruhsar Pekcan.
Also, Rustam Minnikhanov plans to participate in the Tatarstan-Turkey business forum, and meet with Istanbul Province Governor, Acting Mayor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, and visit the State Archives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey and the Research Center for History, Art and Culture at the Organization of Islamic cooperation.
