The first multi-industry business mission Made in Russia + Innoprom will visit Saudi Arabia on May 29-30, 2023. This was announced on Tuesday by the press service of the all-Russia Innoprom exhibition.
"The Made in Russia + Innoprom multidisciplinary business mission will take place on May 29-30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The main industrial exhibition in Russia - the flagship project of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade - for the first time goes beyond the borders of the Eurasian Economic Union. More than 100 Russian companies will take part in the premier business mission", reads the release.
Rostec, Transmashholding, Rostselmash, Power Machines, Geoscan, Biokad and Geropharm will take part in the mission, the companies will present their advanced technologies to the Saudi partners, the press service reported. The participants will include representatives of Russian small and medium business.
The participants of the plenary session will include the heads of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Saudi Arabian authorities as well as the heads of the largest manufacturing companies who will present their visions for the development of cooperation between the two countries. There will also be thematic sessions and presentation zones for Innoprom's industrial projects.
"In the context of growing financial and economic sanctions, Russian manufacturers are actively looking for new markets. Many experts call the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia one of the most promising partners. Today a real industrial revolution is taking place in Saudi Arabia, dozens of industrial cities are springing up with special regimes for foreign investors. Russian industrial technology developers are looking for ways to get multi-million dollar contracts from the kingdom's government customers," the press service said.
Innoprom is the largest Russian industrial exhibition that has been held for the last 14 years in Yekaterinburg. At the invitation of leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan it was decided to hold Innoprom annually in Tashkent, where the exhibition has already been held three times, and in Astana, where it will be held for the first time in September 2023, the report said.
