Saudi Arabia to Support Lebanon Amid Conflict Escalation

Saudi Arabia plans to provide medical and humanitarian aid to the people of Lebanon, who are facing “critical circumstances” following the start of Israel's military operation against Hezbollah. This was stated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

“Supporting our brothers in Lebanon, the Kingdom's leadership has directed the provision of medical and humanitarian assistance to the Lebanese people to help them in these critical times,” the statement, published on the ministry's X (formerly Twitter) page, read.

 

The announcement also emphasized that the Kingdom is following the situation in Lebanon with “great concern” and supports the preservation of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. “Saudi Arabia reaffirms its support for the brotherly people of Lebanon during this conflict,” the statement added.
