Saudi Arabia does not currently have plans to leverage its influence on global oil prices to help facilitate a ceasefire in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This statement was made by the kingdom's Investment Minister, Khaled bin Abdulaziz al-Faleh, in an interview with Bloomberg.
"At the moment, such an approach is not part of our agenda. Saudi Arabia is committed to pursuing peace through diplomatic negotiations," he stated in response to a relevant inquiry.
The minister also added that Riyadh plans to host summits in the near future, involving the participation of African nations, in order to seek a peaceful resolution to the Middle East conflict.
