A special Organizing Committee has been established in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia to prepare for the next VI annual meeting of the Group of strategic vision "Russia-Islamic world".
The event will be held in the Kingdom at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz in April 2020.
KSA delegation headed by the Director of the Department for Interaction with Islamic Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom, Muhammad al-Shimmari visited Moscow.
At a meeting with Farit Mukhametshin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Foreign Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Russia – Islamic world, the Saudi diplomat noted that the Saudi side would provide all necessary assistance for the successful holding of the April meeting of the Group.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue contacts to coordinate preparations for the event.
