During his visit to Baku, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited the Heydar Aliyev memorial - a pedestal with the monument to the former President of Azerbaijan in front of a wall depicting the geographical contours of the Republic.
The Minister and the Russian delegation laid a wreath at the grave of Heydar Aliyev's wife Zarifa.
In addition, the Russian delegation paid tribute to the fallen for the independence of Azerbaijan, laying flowers at Eternal Flame in the Alley of Martyrs.
