Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the heads of Arab diplomatic missions and representatives of the Arab League (LAS) in Moscow.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties had a thorough exchange of views on various aspects of Russian-Arab cooperation. Special attention was paid to the tasks of ensuring a reliable settlement in Syria, on the Palestinian-Israeli track, in Yemen and Libya.
They also confirmed the mutual intent to further deepen the political dialogue on all issues of strengthening peace and security in the Middle East and North Africa.
The sides also spoke for intensifying ties both through bilateral channels and in the format of Russia-LAS relations in the political, trade, economic, investment and cultural spheres.
