Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, during his working visit to Tajikistan on Tuesday, took part in a meeting between President of the Republic Emomali Rahmon and heads of military departments of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) member states, the Russian Defense Ministry says.
‘The meeting discussed regional security and cooperation issues within the work of the CSTO Defense Ministerial Council’, the statement says.
After the meeting with Rahmon, the Ministers laid wreaths at the monument to Ismail Somani, the first ruler of the Tajik state, in Dushanbe’s Dousti Square.
