The Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society (IPPS) has provided accommodation for individuals affected by the actions of Hamas in the Sergievsky Palace in Jerusalem. This was announced by Sergey Stepashin, the chairman of the IPPS, during his speech at the International Section of the World Russian People's Council (WRPC).
"In the Sergievsky podvorye, we have provided accommodation for those people who suffered from Hamas actions and lost their homes. They now reside there. We do not categorize people based on their religious affiliations, be it Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Orthodox, or Catholics, and I believe this inclusivity is our strength," stated Stepashin.
According to the IPPS, the grounds of the Sergievsky Palace include a hotel and a restaurant. Stepashin mentioned that the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society currently operates 35 branches abroad, with branches in all Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan.
