The naval parade will be held in Syrian Tartus on the Day of the Russian Navy, July 28. According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 500 Russian militaries, as well as nine ships and vessels will take part in the parade.
There is the Russian naval base in Tartus. In April, Syria has extended the lease for 49 years.
The main naval parade on the Russian Navy Day on July 28 will be held in St. Petersburg and Kronstadt. Also on this day parades will be held in Severomorsk, Baltiysk, Vladivostok, Sevastopol, and Astrakhan.
