Jakarta (Indonesia) hosted the 17th General Assembly of the World Halal Council, which was attended by representatives of the Halal Committee of the Religious Board of Muslims of Tatarstan.
According to its press service, Tatarstan Committee was included in the Executive Committee of the World Halal Council for the first time, which is evidence of international recognition of the Committee's activities.
It is worth noting that on November 11, the World Halal Council celebrated its 20th anniversary. Now the Council unites more than a dozen countries and is the international coordinating body in the Halal industry.
