Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan al Saud.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, heads of diplomacy of the two countries discussed practical issues of further development of multi-faceted Russian-Saudi relations with an emphasis on the relevant agreements that were reached at the highest level during the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Riyadh on October 14-15, 2019.
"Issues related to the situation on the global hydrocarbon market and some topical issues on the current regional agenda were also discussed," the Russian Diplomatic Department said in a statement.
