The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia published a comment from Russia on the outbreak of inter-ethnic violence in Mali.
We recall, on March 23rd, in the village of Ogossagu in the central part of the country, more than 130 people died as a result of an attack by unknown people, most of them are women and children.
The outburst, as noted, was committed against the background of the frequent clashes between various ethnic groups in the country.
«Mosow strongly condemns the crime against the civilian population in Mali, calling on the Malians to renounce violence and overcome intercommunal problems in an exclusively peaceful way», the Russian Foreign Ministry said, in particular.
