The Turkish authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 250 Foreign Ministry employees

An arrest warrant has been issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry for 250 employees of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

 


NTV television channel declares that Diplomats are suspected of involvement in the activities of the Fethullah Gulen's organization , who Ankara considers to be the main organizer of the attempted coup in July 2016.

 

 


According to the Turkish authorities, the Foreign Ministry staff successfully passed the exam for work in the public service precisely because of cooperation with FETO.

 

 

About 80 people have already been detained.

 

 


It is belived that after the failed coup attempt, the Turkish authorities launched a large-scale investigation, in which thousands of military, civil servants, journalists, etc. were fired and arrested. Several thousand people were convicted.
