The universities of Tatarstan and Turkey are developing cooperation

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Group of strategic vision Russia – Islamic world, met with a delegation of Istanbul Kent University headed by the founder of the University Mesut Yilmaz.

 

 


The main topic of discussion was the prospects of cooperation between Istanbul University and Tatarstan universities.

 

 


Now, according to Minnikhanov, Tatarstan and Turkey are actively developing cooperation in the field of education.

 

 


"More than 100 students from Turkey study in the Republic. I think that the exchange of students and teachers, and inter-University cooperation are very important. The establishment of a partnership between Istanbul Kent University and Kazan State Medical University contributes to the strengthening of our educational cooperation. Today, Kazan Federal University is also developing the medical direction", - the President of the Republic of Tatarstan said.

 

 


Mesut Yilmaz, in his turn, noted that relations between Tatarstan and Turkey have great potential for further development, and spoke about the University of Kent.

 

 


"Today more than 3 thousand students study at the university. Our main major is medicine. We also train management personnel in the health sector. We have a very good dental faculty", - said, in particular, the Turkish guest.

 

 


Yilmaz also announced his intention to develop cooperation with Kazan State Medical University and Kazan Federal University.
