The US President Donald Trump said he expects to improve relations with Russia.
«I hope that we will have good relations with Russia, as well as with China, with everyone else», he noted, in particular, at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
At the same time, the American leader noted that since he became the president, NATO has become much stronger, and the member countries of the alliance have significantly increased defence spending.
The main topic of discussion of Trump and Stoltenberg was a possible increase in contributions from members of the alliance.
According to Trump, Germany, for example, doesn’t contribute enough to the organisation’s budget.
