Turkey is interested in joint production of military equipment with Russia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said following Russian-Turkish talks on the sidelines of the MAKS 2019 air show.
"One of the most important steps in relations with Russia is the joint production of the S - 400. There were many rumors on this topic; we did not pay the slightest attention to them. Our solidarity in this area - we want to extend it to all other areas of the defense industry. It can also be on military aircraft", - TASS agency quotes the Turkish leader.
Vladimir Putin, in his turn, said that he discussed with his Turkish counterpart the joint production of Russian aircraft - the Su-35 and the Su-57.
