Turkey company Yenigün will be engaged in the construction of a plant to produce electricity from household waste.
The agreement was signed between Yenigün and the Russian company "Alternativnaya generirushaya companiya - 1". According to this document, the construction of the first phase of the project should be completed by 2022.
In recent years, the government and society have focused on waste management. RT-invest, a subsidiary of Rostech Corporation, launched a project to build waste heat treatment plants in the Moscow region (Naro-Fominsk, Voskresensk, Noginsk, Solnechnogorsk) and the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan).
