Turkish delegation to arrive in Moscow to discuss the situation in Syria

Today, on December 23, a delegation from Turkey arrives in Moscow to discuss the situation in Syria with the Russian side. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul.


According to him, one of the main topics of the talks will be coordination between the two countries in order to prevent attacks by militants, as well as the Syrian government army, in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.


At the end of last week, the Syrian army launched a new military operation in the Southeast of the province, which is the last major stronghold of terrorist groups. It was reported about the liberation of  Rabia, Hureyba, Harba-Bannan, Shaara, Tell Mahv, Bustan and several other villages.


"Turkey, with the participation of Russia, is doing everything to stop the attacks in Idlib. Tomorrow we will send a delegation to Russia for talks and our next steps will be determined in accordance with the result of this trip," the Turkish leader said, in particular, the day before.
