The participants of the Black Sea grain initiative will find a solution to the inter-bank settlements within the framework's of the deal and take into account Russia's requirements in this regard. Deputy chairman of the Turkish "Good Party" (IYI Parti), responsible for international policy issues, Ahmet Kamil Erozan told TASS.
"Now the participants together with the UN are trying to work out a certain compromise formula. If all parties support the deal, then we need to find a solution for the settlement. It will certainly be found. We will not be carrying the money around in suitcase. Turkish banks are ready to participate [in the deal], but they do not want to have any problems afterwards. We still have time to work out a solution before May 18. I am sure they will settle the matter, not only in terms of payment for grain, but also in terms of Russian requirements. Russia has its own products that it wants to sell," he said.
