Starting from April 15, Uzbekistan transport companies resume regular bus service with Kyrgyzstan, suspended two years ago because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Tashkent bus station administration told TASS on Friday.
"Starting from April 15, the direct daily bus service between the capitals of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, Tashkent and Bishkek, suspended due to the pandemic, will resume," a representative of the administration said. He said that the first trip to Bishkek will depart today at 19:00 local time ( 17:00 Moscow time) and the trip will take 12 hours and 40 minutes and the ticket will cost 250 thousand soms (about $22 - TASS).
Last Monday, Uzbekistan resumed a daily bus service with Nur-Sultan, Almaty and a number of regional centers in Kazakhstan, and in October last year - with Tajikistan.
