Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Royal Palace of Al-Yamama in Riyadh. Here he was met by the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince of the Kingdom, Minister of Defense Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud.
The Royal Palace of Al-Yamama is the official residence of the king of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. According to the established tradition, he spends in it the autumn-winter period.
The palace hosts meetings of the Council of Ministers, official receptions and negotiations with international delegations.
As Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said earlier, the talks will focus on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, building up multi-dimensional cooperation in various areas, such as energy, agriculture, industry and military-technical cooperation, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Following the visit, about 30 bilateral documents will be signed, including both interagency and commercial agreements.
