Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Palestine in the near future, Minister of National Economy of Palestine Khaled al-Osaily said in the interview with RIA Novosti.
"I don't know exactly (when Putin will visit Palestine), but I know that maybe in January," he said, in particular, answering the question whether Vladimir Putin or Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are expected to visit Palestine.
Earlier, Putin announced his intention to visit Israel in mid-January. The visit will be held on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day, as well as on the occasion of the opening of a new monument to the victims among peoples of Russia during the Second World War.
