Today President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will visit Kazan. According to RIA Novosti and the Official Representative of the Moscow Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, in the Tatarstan capital, the Head of State will hold a meeting on the military-industrial complex.
It is known that a series of meetings on military topics Putin holds annually. Such meetings, as the President himself stated earlier, allow us to quickly and comprehensively consider key aspects of military construction and, if necessary, refine the outlined plans in this area.
The central topics of discussion for them are traditionally the tasks of equipping the army and navy, the pace of implementation of the state defense order, diversification in the defense industry and other issues related to the development of the Armed Forces and the work of defense enterprises.
It is reported in the media that during his visit to Kazan after the May holidays, Vladimir Putin would become familiar with the progress of work on the Altius unmanned program, the Mi-38 helicopter and visit the Kazan aircraft plant.
