I warmly welcome the participants of the V International Forum of Muslim journalists in St. Petersburg.
This annual meetings, which have become a good tradition, bring together journalists, interested in increasing cooperation in the information space, from different Muslim countries and the Russian Federation. Today, it is important to broadcast the real Russian position on topical issues of the international agenda to a wide audience of the Muslim world, including the problems of the objectivity of modern Media and international information security.
I am sure that the rich program of the Forum is a good opportunity to strengthen the potential for cooperation in the global information space and will allow us to implement joint initiatives.
Russia and Muslim countries are united by traditional partnership relations, including in the promotion of inter-civilizational dialogue in ensuring security and stability.
I am convinced that the discussions will be meaningful and fruitful and will help to outline promising joint projects, as well as will serve to further strengthen trust and understanding between our countries.
